Monaco Strengthens Commitment to International Tax Transparency

The Principality participated in the 18th plenary meeting of the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS), held in Paris from 28 to 30 October.

Bringing together more than 420 delegates from 125 jurisdictions, the meeting focused on strengthening international tax cooperation, combating tax avoidance and ensuring fairer global taxation.

Monaco reaffirmed its commitment to international tax transparency and the implementation of OECD standards, highlighting its active participation in the BEPS initiative over the past decade.

This commitment was further demonstrated in July 2026, when Monaco submitted draft legislation introducing a qualified domestic minimum top-up tax in line with the OECD’s GloBE rules.

The Principality’s participation reflects its continued efforts to promote a transparent and responsible international tax environment.
