Monaco Joins First International Space Summit in Paris

Monaco took part in the inaugural International Space Summit in Paris on 9–10 September 2026, joining delegations from more than 90 countries to advance cooperation on the peaceful, equitable and sustainable use of space. The Principality was represented by Ambassador Valérie Bruell-Melchior on behalf of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, alongside officials from Monaco’s Department of External Relations and Cooperation. Discussions at the Grand Palais focused on space exploration, safety and governance, emerging technologies and the sector’s growing economic importance. Monaco-based Venturi Space also presented its space technologies, including ALTA LUNA, a Monegasque vehicle designed to operate around future lunar bases.
